$31,485,000 - this is how much the South Carolina Jobs Economic Development Authority believes in Tutelage School Solutions. In partnership with the Charter Institute at Erskine and Cogito Academy, we are excited to be bringing this incredible new school to Lancaster County, starting in the 2025-2026 school year.
“This landmark bond, secured entirely through state funding and without raising local taxes, will provide the critical resources needed to construct the most state-of-the-art educational facility in Lancaster County,” said Dr. Joshua Bowers, founding School Director of Cogito Academy. “As construction unfolds during our inaugural year, families will not only witness the development of a cutting-edge campus, but will also benefit immediately from our innovative academic program.”

In year one, Cogito Academy will operate out of a temporary facility, while their forever home is being built, beginning in the spring of 2025. The permanent building is scheduled to be completed by the spring of 2026, well in time for the 2026-2027 school year.
Since December 2020, Tutelage School Solutions has secured four bonds totally $97,605,000.
